Hey engineers, what’re you doing tonight?
doingtonight is looking for developers. Read more about what we are up to here. We won’t bog you down with “minimum qualifications” because it should be pretty obvious we aren’t looking for duds.
What we need you to know
We are seeking engineers with experience in Ruby on Rails and/or native mobile development (Java, Objective C). Developers who are familiar with a number of different languages, and have the ability to learn others quickly are ideal candidates. These special people should be familiar with geolocation and have experience building real-time applications. Experience with design and illustration is a plus, but not required.
What we need you to do
Preliminary work will focus solely onRuby on Rails and native iPhone app development which is already well underway. So your ability to quickly understand existing code, improve it, and build on top of it is paramount. In order to work effectively, you will need to have a basic understanding of system-side and server-side development and be able to comunicate your needs so there is little to no friction through the development process.
What we need you to feel
We are looking for rockstars who are comfortable working in a volatile start-up environment. A passion for the start-up community is important, including a strong understanding of the social mobile, and location-based mobile markets. Since the organization is still small, it is important that each developer has a grasp on general business and strategy principals and can offer feedback and contribute to the macro thesis whenever possible and appropriate.
We’re happy to provide more details once we know a little bit more about you. Contact us jobs [at] doingtonight [dot] com or by using this form.
